Hail in November 2009 drastically reduced the 2010 Riesling crop and the resulting super-ripe intensely flavoured fruit was idea for this delicious dessert wine. The style is ver Germanic hence the use of the name 'Auslese'. The fruit, sweetness and acidity are in perfect harmony. Disarmingly fresh in youth, this lovely wine will evolve for years.
